NONIE POTOCKI, the founder of New York based Career Vistas, is a dedicated, results-oriented professional with more than 25 years of career consulting and business experience. Ms. Potocki focuses on helping people identify their natural strengths and abilities and on motivating them to achieve their full potential. She excels at custom designing corporate programs to skillfully manage career transitions.

Prior to her establishing Career Vistas in 1983, Time Inc. hired her to set up a new career development department for Home Box Office. Ms. Potocki designed and facilitated career development workshops emphasizing psychometric testing and self-assessment. She then counseled HBO employees at all levels of the corporation. Prior to that, she was Associate Director of the Johnson O'Connor Research Foundation, where she assisted individuals and groups in determining career aptitudes.

Ms. Potocki was first awarded Career Management Practitioner (CMP) certification by The Institute of Career Certification International in 1995. She was certified as a Focusing trainer with The Focusing Institute in 2007. She completed a course of study in the use of Focusing-Oriented Therapy in Complex Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress with The Focusing Institute in 2010. She received a certification in Wholebody Focusing from The Focusing Institute in 2013 and is an active member of that organization and The Transition Network.
